Runner-Up 2014 / ELE Business Plan Competition @Oklahoma Christian U.

ELE Business Plan Competition is an annual business competition organized at Oklahoma Christian University to challenge the Rwandan youth all-over the world, to come up with creative and innovative solutions not only to their own problems, but also to critical and burning community challenges.

In 2012, I won the above prize due to a business plan I wrote for the social venture "African Innovation Prize - High School Initiative"

Rwandan Youth & Business Excellence Awards (RYBEA) is an initiative of Emerging Leaders & Entrepreneurs (ELE) created to foster entrepreneurial innovation among the youth of Rwanda by celebrating and showcasing innovative initiatives championed by Rwandan youth, connecting future leaders and entrepreneurs to each other or to mentors, supporters, investors, and partners to help them bring their dreams and ideas to fruition. In 2014, I won the Creativity Award due to the successfulness of my creative work of empowering high school youth with entrepreneurial skills through SEN Rwanda.

Sub-Saharan Africa Leaders Award Recipient / Regent University, 2015.

The Sub-Saharan Africa Leaders Award is given by Regent University’s School of Business & Leadership (SBM) seeks to support the education and development of current and future leaders in Sub-Saharan Africa. The review committee selects the recipient of a Sub-Saharan African Award among outstanding SBL students from Sub-Saharan Africa. I was selected as the recipient of the Sub-Saharan Africa Award at Regent University, as an outstanding Regent graduate student and leader from Sub-saharan Africa, an award valued at $13,650 for my educational and development endeavors to change the world.

Grand Prize Award / African Innovation Prize 2010

African Innovation Prize's Business Plan Competition is yearly business plan competition organized by African Innovation Prize (AIP), a UK Charity. The Competition is held in African Universities (Namely: National University of Rwanda, School of Finance & Banking, Kigali Institute of Science & Technology, and University of Sierra Leone). Entries to be submitted are full business plans described in less than 1500 words. In 2011, I was awarded with the grand prize of African Innovation Prize due to writing a competitive business plan for an horticulture extension project in Kigali.

Third Best Business Idea Award /African Innovation Prize 2011

African Innovation Prize's Idea Challenge is a yearly business idea competition organized by African Innovation Prize (AIP), a UK Charity, for university students in Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. In this competition, students generate innovative business ideas and communicate them in under 250 words. The three best ideas “Best Idea Challenge” are awarded with cash prizes. In 2010, I was awarded with the above prize because of my business idea of pioneering the the food preservation technology through the production of local dried fruits and vegetables for export.

Finalist / Tigo - Reach for Change Social Entrepreneurship Competition 2012

Tigo-Reach for Change Social Entrepreneurship Competition identifies and supports social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to improve the lives of children. In the inaugural competition, in 2012, my project "Schools Entrepreneurship Laboratory" took me to the top 12 to reach the semi-finals in a pool of over 600 applicants.

Reach for Change is a non-profit organization founded by the Kinnevik Group, in 2010, with operations in Africa, Asia and Europe.
